A sofa is the largest investment and the longest-lived piece of furniture in a living room — chosen well, it remains part of your home for 15-20 years. Chappal’s Sofa collection ranges from modular combinations to classic three-seaters, from corner sets to compact single-seater sofas.

Each model features a solid wood frame, high-density foam, and upholstery that has passed durability testing. Pieces that are both comfortable to sit in and a pleasure to touch.

Sofa Types

Single-Seater Sofa

A 1-person compact model. Deeper and more cushioned than a bergere, but strong as a standalone piece. For small living rooms or reading corners.

Two- and Three-Seater Sofas

The main seating piece of a living room. Models 180-220 cm in length are the most common.

Corner Sofas

L-shaped, for larger living rooms. One arm functions as a chaise, the other for classic seating.

Modular Sofas

Pieces you can reconfigure to your needs. Like the Siena and Pandora modular corner sofas.

Choosing a Sofa

Size: Should not exceed two-thirds of the living room’s length. For a 4×5-metre room, a maximum of 220-240 cm is suggested. Leave at least 90 cm for passage.

Fabric choice:

• Bouclé (teddy): Warm, textured look. May trap pet hair.
• Velvet: Luxurious appearance, shifts in tone with light. Stain-sensitive; removable covers recommended.
• Natural cotton: Classic, durable. Models with removable covers are washable.
• Faux leather (PU): Practical to clean. Surface wears after 5-7 years of heavy use.

Foam and filling: High-density foam (35+ kg/m³) doesn’t sag. Down + foam blends are warmer but require regular fluffing.

Maintenance Tip

Vacuum or brush your sofa weekly. Rotate cushions monthly to even out wear. Blot spills immediately with a dry, absorbent cloth — don’t rub.
